Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre
On December 14, 2012, a gunman named Adam Lanza opened fire at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. This resulted in not only in his suicide, but twenty children and six adults were killed, including two wounded adults. The incident not only caused great amount of grief and despair nationally but it also sparked fury and anger in many Americans. Now, Americans are questioning the right for people to own or possess legal guns. Should the Second Amendment be revised or should we put even stricter gun control laws in the states? Should we have armed guards posted at public areas and services to help maintain the peace and avoid tragedies like this? It is important to understand the severity and controversy on gun control and the Second Amendment after a crisis like this.
